Fall is here, time to bust out the fleece! Brooks-Range has a great fitting and very comfortable "fleece" in their Rock Shirt.
"The Brooks-Range Rock Shirt is a perfect shirt for layering because it features a smooth outerlayer and a “sueded” innerlayer to make if feel soft and comfortable against the skin. It also has a broken in appearance and is built to last with 12 oz. cotton. The styling and distinctive detailing makes this an ideal shirt for rugged outdoor environments. Made with 80% 12 oz. cotton/20% polyester, the shirt also features a ribbed cuff and hem, as well as side vents for ventilation and access. Colors: Slate, Brick, Charcoal, Navy and Light Olive; Sizes: S, M, L and XL"
I was able to try the Brick colored Rock Shirt and I have been wearing it everywhere in this cool fall weather. My suggestion to those looking to buy the shirt is to buy it one size smaller than you normally wear. I usually wear anywhere from an XL to XXL, but I am wearing a L in the Rock Shirt. If I was going to use it for layering I probably would want to go with XL. In the L I am pretty much just wearing a t-shirt under it.
The shirt's quality is fantastic and so is the price ($39.00). I would definitely recommend giving this shirt a try if you are in the market for a new "go-to" fleece this fall.
