Team OrionHealth (pictured here at a checkpoint yesterday) has been leading the entire Primal Quest Badlands race, and still is according to the latest report. They must be kicking some serious ass and finding all their checkpoints well before the other teams because the Primal Quest SPOT Tracking Map is showing them about 10 miles in the lead.
Yesterday most teams were making their way through the ropes course and paddling Angostura Reservoir. The leaders are well over 100 miles in now and distances will be harder and harder to make up unless a leader makes a mistake. Team Salomon Crested Butte and Merrell Zanfel are fighting for 2nd place right now as far as I can tell. But as we know, in the world of adventure racing, anything can happen.
