Here are just a few outdoor celebrities who are using twitter. I am sure there are some that I missed. If you know some good ones, please share!
Lance Armstrong - @Lancearmstrong
While Lance is is working on his 8th Tour de France victory, he is actively tweeting about the experience. It is actually pretty cool to hear how everything is going with him over there. He is one of the more active sports figures on twitter. It is a great way to hear exactly how the race is going from the man himself.
Shaun White - @Shaun_White
The "Flying Tomato" doesn't update his twitter account as much as Lance, but both he and Lance use twitpic to share some interesting photos from time to time. I am interested to see if Shaun updates his account more often during the winter Olympics, which I am sure the Gold Medal winner will be at next year.
Kerri Walsh - @kactiveusa
Olympic beach volleyball gold medalist Kerri Walsh uses twitter more for her business and less for personal use. Her account is used to market her Active clothing line.
Shaq - @The_Real_Shaq
Ok, so he isn't really an Outdoor sports celebrity, but he is a pretty entertaining guy. He can dance and he can sing, and his tweets are pretty funny. It is worth checking out.

I may have to disagree with the "he can dance" part.
