out-post (noun) - an outlying settlement, installation, position, etc.

We’ve known for some time here at Outdoorzy that we needed to upgrade our blog look. And while we were at it we changed our amazingly descriptive name (The Outdoorzy Blog) to something a bit more creative. Not outhouse, or compost, but Out Post. The new format should make stories and information much easier to find here on the blog, while adding some fun bells and whistles like polls and such.

We hope you enjoy it. Feel free to tell us what you think in the poll to the right... don't hold back, we can take it.

Thanks for continuing to read the blog and support the Outdoorzy community. Now get back to work so you can pay for all that new gear and the travel expenses you'll be racking up this summer. And we'll get busy reviewing the latest outdoor do-dads and finding silly outdoor stories to keep you busy while you do your time for the man.
