Some of you may have seen the recent news that Ken Knight, a contributing editor to Backpacking Light had been lost while hiking on the AT last week. Ken is a visually impaired hiker who apparently has a tremendous amount of back country experience. Which made it odd that he hadn't turned up when and where he was supposed to. The details haven't been released yet, but Backpacking Light is reporting that he hiked out under his own steam.

Good to hear that he made it out okay. Everyone likes a happy ending.
