Squishy Bowls

Guyot Designs has been working hard to make life easier for us tent dwellers. They design gear that makes our lives easier, and more fun. Items like the Firefly, Splashguard, and the Squishy Bowls.

squishy bowlsThe Squishy Bowls are pure genius. You can wow your campmates and backpacking compadres when you whip the bowl and cup out. No more need for bowls and plates that awkwardly fit into your pack, or eating out of the hot pan you burn you fingers on. The squishy bowls can hold hot food and drinks, clean up easily when wiped with a wet nap, and jam down into any crevice in your backpack. Backpacking eatery never was so cool.

A bowl and cup set will run you $15.95, unless you don't mind the "slate" color, then you'll pay $11.95.

  3. I've used these for two backpacking trips so far -- highly recommend them. They flip inside out for easy cleaning (read: licking). Super-durable and able to hold hot liquids.

  6. My girlfriend just bought these for our summer in Glacier National Park. Can't wait to give them a shot: lightweight, compactable and durable. Really can't go wrong with that combination!
