If case you live outside the central belt of the US you may not be battling the ice storm. We here in the plains, central, south, and eastern US are having alot of fun without you though. Spotty cell, cable, and internet access leaves us with plenty of time to listen to the big frozen limbs snap & hit the roof and to catch up on reading.
Here are some photos, videos, and stories pertaining to the ice storm.

So much for outdoor activities (other than clearing the limbs from the drive). Anyone want to ice climb on the side of my house?

So I guess you kentuckians got some ice last night?
I just rained here in eastern TN.
Definitely there with ya buddy, though lexington hasn't seen it as bad as other places. UK classes did get canceled though so it's bad enough I guess. I woke up this morning to 20-30 seconds of blue fireworks outside - the transformer across the street. Be safe out there!
