Wade graciously gave me a couple pair of Bridgedale socks to try out this weekend. Luckily Bridgedale is one of just a few companies who provide large sizes in their gear. Both of these socks come in XL (13+). I wear size 17 and have never bought anything but regular white socks so some fancy socks were just what I needed.
The X-Hale Trailhead socks do more than just look cool. They have cushioning in different spots for some extra comfort. The wool that is used helps wick moisture away to keep your feet dry and not so funky smellin. There is some noticeable mesh around certain areas which allow air circulation. These seem like they would do a great job in some normal hiking conditions.

The X-Hale Multisport was very similar except slightly less cushioning and less warmth. These seem like they would be great for running outdoors in the summer. This week I am going to see how they stack up against indoor running on a treadmill. I am sure they will be great.

Both types can be found at Zappos.com for around $50 for a 3 pack.
