I write for an ezine, Adventure Trip Magazine sometimes. Last week on that site I listed the Top 10 Ski Resorts. But not according to me, according to everyone else. Some of the top 10 lists were purely opinion, some were based on voting, and some were based on research. I took a large sampling of these other popular Top 10 Ski Resort lists and used their ratings to create the ultimate top 10. To see my own point system that ranked these resorts read the article at ATM.
And here were the top 10 according to the math, like em or not.
#10 Alta, UT USA
#5 Chamonix-Mont Blanc, France
#2 Vail, CO USA

Two things about that article;
How do you consider Lake Tahoe a resort, it is a combination of many resorts, which are all different.
Alta, which may be kickass, does not allow snowboarding...lame
I hope to visit all the above places before taking a long dirt nap.
Good point on lake tahoe. The lists I used to create this list were not all "resort" lists. Some were "best place to ski" type lists. That is why tahoe kept popping up, and not a specific resort.
And Alta had to make the list. Mainly because it is a "ski" list and I was going off the math. Perhaps a snowboarding list is in order though?
Keep in mind, this list was created mathematically from about 20 other lists. I haven't been to ANY of these places personally. So I'm with you on wanting to visit all these myself and make my own judgments.
Kind of funny, but you didn't even spell Lake Tahoe correctly in the list.
Forgot to mention my favorite resort in Lake Tahoe is SugarBowl
The typo was corrected. Thanks Rob!
