Day 46, Tuesday, June 24, Little Falls, NY to Albany, NY
We rode 69 miles today. In the morning we rode beside the Mohawk River in the Mohawk Valley with a very strong tail wind. In the afternoon we rode a bike trail around the city of Albany, NY that overlooked the river in many places. Excelllant cycling and beautiful country.

Our tour is coming to a close. We have 3 long days and one 18 mile day remaining. I have had alot of fun but I am ready to come back to Bowling Green and be with Harriette. Seven weeks is a long time.

Day 47, Wednesday, June 25, Albany, NY to Brattleboro, VT
This was a 76 miles of long hill climbs and long down hill sections. We climbed 6,000 feet of elevation this day.

This section is in the White Mountain and just lovely. We had two mountain streams and crossed the Hudson River in the afternoon.

Day 48, Thursday, June 26, Brattleboro, VT to Burlington, MA
We rode 87 miles today and we had two long hills and they were hard. One had a grade of 15%. We had a little shower and low temperatures in the low 60's.

I am 18 miles from the ocean. We plan to ride that in the morning as a group of 42 riders. Ben is coming this evening and will be with me when I finish this tour.

I want to thank again everyone that has posted comments on my BLOG, sent email, and phone calls.
I am ready to return to Bowling Green and be with my family, friends and Rhett Butler. I am looking forward to next week.
