Kansas and Food Poisoning

Well Meredith had a rough few days this week. He along with several other riders got food poisoning at a pizza restaurant they stopped at. Here is his update..

Day 19, May 28, Guy Mon, OK 72 Miles
I spent the whole day in the motel with 11 other riders. Four of the rider went to the hospital for food poisoning!

Day 20, May 29, Liberal, KS 40 Miles
This is the shortest day of our tour. We started the day with a 25 mile per hour TAIL wind. I have never ridden forty miles with less effort. At the first SAG stop our average speed was 19+ miles per hour. Kansas is flat and the winds are strong.
