Primal Quest Montana
December 19th, 2007 Wade

The Adventure Blog reported this week that the famed Primal Quest adventure race will be in Montana this coming year.
My cousin just moved to Billings, so maybe I’ll actually make it to PQ this year. Montana will provide a scenic backdrop and should also make for ideal adventure racing terrain. Can’t wait to see what they have in store this year.

Montana should be a great location. Off the radar for a lot of people, but there are some very remote and rugged areas. The race promise more than 100,000 feet of vertical gain as well, so you know those mountain trails are going to be put to good use.

100k is alot of vertical. I’m looking forward to seeing that course!

Yeah, it is a lot of vertical. And Don Mann told me personally that that was 100k of vertical GAIN. Meaning that it’ll be more vertical, but they’ll have some ups and downs too.
*Whew* I’m tired just thinking about it.
