Good point about the color of the bottle chad. I am usnig it on a bottle that is "smoke" colored and that has an effect on the amount of light. I think I need a completely transparent bottle to get the best effect.

a glow in the dark button would be nice for the on/off, but here's an old "cop" coffee mug trick from a third shifter... With a knife notch out your "target area." On the ol' mug it's side of the drinking hole. On the lantern it'd be the side closet to the button. ENJOY!! THis lantern doesn't give off boat loads of light, but it's great for in-tent, especially if you have small children...great light light. Also, the color the bottle will have great impact on how much light it given off...
