Eat Better America, oh, and, dot com

I was told today about a site called eatbetteramerica.com, which provides basic nutritional information for people who want to make smarter decisions about the way they eat and excercise. The informaiton on the site is common sense for the most part. It outlines why anti-oxidant, low fat, and low cholestorol food choices help your overall health. It also gives reccomendations on how to hone in your exercise routine for your specific needs.

The site may be a little slow for some, because it's heavy on flash animation. I also noticed it is backed by General Mills. You can join up for a membership and receive a free newsletter on nutrition and exercise. I would assume you may also get coupons for General Mills foods in the process.

Eatbetteramerica.com seems to be basic, common sense, food and exercise suggestions with a corporate marketing mind driving the whole thing to promote GM products. But, seriously, America is FAT. So, this has to be a win-win.

Check it out if you're into nutrition or know someone who may benefit from it.
