CNN recently wrote an article about “flashpacking” http://www.cnn.com/2006/TRAVEL/06/30/trv.us.flashpacking.ap/index.html
Flashpacking is apparently backpacking with lots of technology (i.e. laptop, digital camera, usb cords, digital video camera, etc.) By backpacking the article refers to travel backpacking, not the type you would do in the wilderness. Although I guess this would apply to a wilderness backpacking trip in which you brought all of your gadgets. Sounds good to me and Emile is definately excited about it because it means he can join the flashpacking craze and he already has all the gear he needs, sans backpack 
We here at outdoorzy haven’t exactly decide to add flashpacking to our list of activities yet, but we’re thinking on it. I mean it is done in the outdoors and it does involve a backpack, right?

The Outdoorzy Blog is set up and ready to roll, thanks to Emile. This will be the place where Outdoorzy.com fans can come to read the latest news about site upgrades and to find out what the Outdoorzy.com team is up to. The site should be live in 2-3 months if we stay on target. During that time Lynn will be building the database and functionality of the site, while Emile and I get the LLC set up, gather marketing materials, prepare ad campaigns, write and collect content, etc.
